Course Description:

This course investigates the many technological tools and methodologies of web-based and
interactive video based classroom education. Topics such as : course design, defining distance education and
tracing it’s roots, technologies of distance education, virtual classroom / virtual school, designing and
developing a web-based lesson, distance learning, distance teaching, two-way and four-way video
teleconference courses, video-conferencing, synchronous and asynchronous educational tools. Web-based and
interactive video classroom modeling will be an integral part of the course as well as field application.
